AIR TRANSPORT: Primary interface to customers on all technical & commercial matters; leads customer engagements from initial contact through solution deployment. Steps include qualification, requirements validation, pricing, review cycles, approval processes, proposing, presenting, and negotiating. You will manage the process but work in conjunction with teams of professionals.Establish and maintain a professional relationship with customers.
Demonstrate comprehension of the customer environment with a developed and well-informed opinion that educates the customer. Understand and draw conclusions that incorporate economic, industry, technology and regulatory trends into customer presentations and commercial tenders. You should be viewed as the subject matter expert.
Engage with customers to better understand their business requirements and develop sound solutions to meet their needs.
Analyze customer’s operating environment and factor this analysis into recommended solutions. Analyze customer environments and business processes in order to identify and highlight compelling reasons for the customer to take action.
Promote Client by furnishing customers with comprehensive, up-to-date information on products, product enhancements and new solutions, through customer meetings and workshops.
Generate profitable business while providing win-win scenarios with customers.Work closely with Account Managers/Directors to develop sales and account development strategies.
Coordinate with stakeholders to develop and approve the solution in a timely manner. Internal stakeholders will include delivery, operations, sales, legal, finance, taxes, credit control, revenue recognition, risks, purchasing, technical specialists, facilities and HR, as well as customers and subcontractors externally.
Own the technical and commercial components of proposals submitted to customers. Work closely with the project delivery organization to ensure efficient handover from pre-sales to implementation environments.
5 years of experience in Information Technology in a technical pre-sales role
Proven track record in producing, communicating, and documenting successful technical customer solutions proposals
Knowledge of technical and commercial aspects of Airport and the Air Transport Industry highly desirable.
Knowledge & Skills:
Knowledge of technologies such as networks, voice architecture, and passenger management applications
Knowledge of technical and commercial aspects of the Air Transport Industry a plus
Capable of interacting with key decision makers.
Education & Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Technologies, or Business
Advanced degree is a plus
Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.
Duration: 12 months + or full time.
