AIRLINE/AIRPORT: This is an integral part of the Portfolio & Solutions Management (PSM) leadership team and will report into the Vice President of the function. It will directly influence the long-term portfolio and solutions strategy. The individual will be responsible for managing the platform of products and services as enablers to be used across all portfolios, and leading a team to work closely with the other PSM teams, key internal and external partners.
Platform Strategy: Develop the strategy for the platform of products and services in line with strategy to create synergies across the portfolios, in close collaboration with the Portfolio & Solutions and the Product & Solution Engineering teams. This includes developing a strategic vision for managing partnerships and suppliers.
Platform Management: Lead implementation of the product and service platform in to achieve business objectives such as budget, CAPEX and other key metrics. Direct the development of the platform roadmap throughout the lifecycle from conception to retirement. Work with the Profession Practices team to drive best practices.The scope of the platform responsibility consists of Application Delivery through the ATI Application Hub and Legacy Network, and Infrastructure & Services used in Airline and Airport Operations portfolios, including integration and device management services.
Platform Innovation: Identify new opportunities for the underlying technology of the platform to evolve in line with the portfolio needs and competitive landscape.
Customer Advisory: Participate in Customer Advisory Boards, user groups and other customer forums to develop customer relationships and influence market thinking.
People & Organization: Develop a people plan that builds a cohesive workforce and whose capabilities evolve in alignment with the ATS strategy. Continuously review to maintain the optimum location(s) and structure for the organization. Ensure that senior level positions have qualified successors.
Significant business experience in a high-tech, global company.
Knowledge & Skills:
In-depth experience in product and portfolio management and the underlying technology (technical architecture experience is a plus)
In-depth understanding of the latest trends and innovations within the airline/airport industry and relevant technology areas
Demonstrated track record in delivering lasting results in Product Management (innovation, revenue, margin, strategy, P&L) in a global business environment and in technology solutions based business
Ability to lead large direct teams and virtual teams in a culturally diverse environment organizations over sustained periods of time.
Education & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a technical disciplineMasters of Business Administration is a plus.
Duration: 12 months + or full time.
