Pricing Analyst / Commercial Specialist, Czech Republic (PRG)

AIR TRANSPORT: The overall objective is to provide pricing and pre-and post sales financial analysis for bids.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Will be part of the EURO geography commercial and contract team as support of sales activity and Regional Management contact, as required, to effectively present and articulate financial and commercial aspects of new and existing business opportunities

  • Financial modelling support of applicable opportunities. This includes items that will impact commercial terms & conditions (or will be impacted by such T & C's), price structure, capital expenditure, cash flow and customer offer/contract negotiations where required

  • Supporting the development and negotiation of commercially and financially sound contracts with customers.- Communicating with management regarding all financial and pricing aspects of the deal including the deal profitability, pricing, capital investment, cash flow and all necessary approvals

  • Champion support for bids at the senior management level from a commercial/pricing perspective

  • Obtain costs from Solution Design lead and help shape/challenge as appropriate based on deal requirements, design-to-cost parameters and the client's commercial requirements

  • Work with Solution Lines, Solution Designers, etc. to identify cost savings and productivity improvements in a given bid's solution and validate business assumptions

  • Participate as part of a pursuit team to identify, quantify and report financial risks associated with a bid

  • Develop, advocate and drive for optimum financial viability of the engagement under: A) guidelines and objectives (especially in terms of PTP, maximum cash out and payback/DCF) coupled with B) client, competition and market requirements

  • Support compliance with company regulations including bid process, delegation of authority and governance.

 

Experience:

  • Ideally 6+ years of experience, within a commercial environment ideally within IT, Finance, Pricing or Commercial Management

  • Experience supporting deal management for large global companies is highly desirable.

 

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Financial skills & understanding - ability to understand, cashflow and P&L

  • Broad technical knowledge of IT, telecommunication and infrastructure projects desirable

  • Strong communications skills, particularly related to articulating specific corporate strategy and commercial requirements for large or complex customer contracts at an executive level, both internally and externally

  • Ability to interact with senior executives to clearly articulate and negotiate complex and high value business propositions to internal audiences (discounted pricing, profitability, risks, etc.) as well as with clients (positioning of financial structuring, benefits, etc.)

  • Understanding of accounting concepts and ability to interact with senior management and customers with regards to topics covering balance sheet, tax and revenue recognition issues.

 

Education & Qualifications:

Minimum college bachelor's degree or equivalent; graduate work preferred.

 

Duration: 12 months + or full time.
