AIR TRANSPORT: Act as a centre of expertise for the pricing strategy of a portfolio of products and services to meet the company revenue, margin, acquisition and retention objectives, while as well supporting complex commercial opportunities with the optimum pricing approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Pricing Strategy
In collaboration with the portfolio heads and product managers, assess and recommend Pricing Strategy
Develop effective segmentation strategy and variance based analysis to define floor and ceiling price points of given portfolio
Support portfolio heads with the negotiation the best possible transfer prices from third party suppliers (e.g. Satellite Air Time Providers, Equipment Manufacturers, etc.)
Maintain product knowledge and regularly monitors industry pricing practices; particularly for major competitors;
Innovate and differentiated from disruptive pricing strategy
Support the design of partnership models for which pricing strategy can become a critical success factor to market (e.g. revenue share models, fronting, risk sharing, etc.).

Act as Pricing Centre of Expertise:
Manage the delivery of pricing schemes leading to the creation / structural modification of price books and the corresponding quotation tools
Establish and manages adherence to guidelines and delegation of pricing authority
Collaborate with Billing and other internal teams for: the development and optimal implementation of the order-to-bill chain. Contribute to improved customer satisfaction levels with the billing
Prepare all communication material about price book updates, including the appropriate price guidelines and bid strategy
Effectively models and report on value proposition segments to define and monitor pricing strategy
Determines appropriate price books and discounts based on analysis of market climate, competition and product life cycle
Provides management with monthly KPIs metrics reporting
Design, develop and constantly adapt best-in-class pricing systems and price quotation tools
Lead pricing definition for complex bids and complex projects
Provide support to non-standard proposals, price, cost and margin analysis and customer business cases
Contributes to bid approval process through regular reviews of price variance charts and metrics
Lead effective price reviews on large opportunities with cross-functional divisional staff teams
Assists in close strategy.
Education:
MA in Business, Finance, Marketing or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
8 years + experience in a pricing, business finance or product management function
Experience working in a global multi-cultural IT environment, including both hardware and software components, combined into complex integration projects and delivered as managed services to customers.
Duration: 12 months + or full time.
Rate: Please quote expected salary or day rate.
