Director Portfolio Marketing, Eastern USA (ATL)

AIRLINE: The Portfolio Marketing Senior Manager is expected to provide leadership and support in the identification, planning and implementation of portfolio marketing strategies that deliver unique/compelling positioning, strategic messaging and leadership proof points improving the portfolio's market position, competitive advantage and business results.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and setting Portfolio Marketing key priorities

  • Increasing the competitive market position and customer perception by assessing and re-positioning elements based upon market trend information and marketing intelligence

  • Establishing and driving Marketing plans & sales programs for new and existing solutions which support strategy and key initiatives to achieve planned rollout metrics and budget targets

  • Leading the Market & Competitive Intelligence practice, working with senior management for market trends affecting product development, and working with the regional marketing teams to enable and set objectives for intelligence gathering and analysis

  • Performing / overseeing market and competitive analysis activities to understand customer and prospect needs, as well as to assess market opportunity

  • Manage a team of Marketing and Market & Competitive Intelligence professionals. 

     

Experience:

  • Extensive experience in leading product/portfolio marketing in IT solutions & services

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to turn data into actionable insights

  • Proven experience in creating content and developing marketing materials (including the launch of new products or services)

  • Strong communicator: written, verbal (one-on-one, group, and large public presentations)

 

Knowledge & Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge or work experience in at least one or more SITA target market segments

  • Strong analytical skills and thinking

  • Ability to apply data analytics in support of portfolio marketing strategy

  • Ability to thrive cross-functionally and build strong stakeholder relationships

  • Business development and Sales knowledge

  • Understanding of the latest trends and innovations within the airline/airport industry and relevant technology areas is a plus.

 

Education & Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors degree

  • Masters of Business Administration is a plus

 

Duration: 12 months + or full time.

 

Rate: Please quote  expected salary or day rate.
