Technical Development Lead (Biometrics) – UK (LHR)


AIR TRANSPORT: Biometrics Technical Development Lead: We are keen to meet someone who can lead the development and delivery of a broad range of passenger facing hardware and software making sure outcomes look great, are simple to use and easy to look after.

You will already be expert at: working within complex, international, multi-cultural and fast-moving virtual teams; analysing and simplifying complex multi-stakeholder environments; securing enthusiasm and commitment to succeed from others; driving outcomes with pace and sensitivity.

You might not already be a biometrics guru, but being open to becoming one would be helpful. You will be responsible for delivering innovative biometrically enabled Passenger Processing solutions to support global business development teams provide timely and cost-effective outcomes for the Client’s customers.

Not only will you own and manage the technical development programme from day one, you’ll benefit from working with subject matter experts in your field to grow your career, and make a difference. This really is an opportunity to change the way people travel to, through and from airports.

You should already possess the necessary Right to Work in the UK without further sponsorship.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • At least 5 years or more of Project Management experience with full budget responsibility in a commercial environment

  • Experience in IT solutions provider environment with knowledge of Air Transport products and underlying technologies an advantage.

Knowledge & Skills

- Strong knowledge and understanding of IT and specifically the ATI industry and economic drivers - Strong project financial management experience including budgeting, estimating and reporting - Advanced user of MS Office applications, and collaboration tools (sharepoint) - Very competent in MS Project and/or other project management tools.

Duration: 12 months + or full time.

Rate: Please quote expected salary or day rate.
