AIRLINE: This position is responsible for the Clients product(s)’ life cycle from value identification, creation and delivery. This includes from Product Strategy to Product Development to Product Marketing to customer adoption including tactical activities to support the product. The preferred Candidate should have knowledge of current airline revenue management practices as well as the ability to drive, decision make and pull together teams of senior people with differing ideas into a cohesive focused team.They need the ability to set clear goals, measures to plan, track and show progress to meet the vision for the product line.

Responsibilities
Identify value by conducting market research including determining customer needs
Create value by establishing and maintaining a Multi-year Product Roadmap (including a Marketing Strategy) that includes the level of investment that will deliver the customer value by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product enhancements or changes
Deliver value by defining the product adoption targets and liaise with Product Marketing and Sales to ensure product adoption goals are met.
Industry knowledge
Understands the market challenges and needs, and validates that the product is meeting those needs
Liaises with those in the field to assess the response to and suitability of the product and product enhancements
Understands the state of the technology platform in which the products are built and any inherent value or risks as a result
Develops recommendations on build, buy or partner and partner relationships
Evaluates and makes recommendations on the regulatory compliance and legal exposure ramifications for their product.
Project Management
Manages the investment (resources, dollars, features) of the development and testing to ensure that product developments match market and customer demands and are in line with the Product Roadmap including the marketing plan
Proactively evaluates and recommends internal process improvements around the entire product development lifecycle to identify, create and deliver value
Able to manage multiple cross-functional work teams.
Experience required
10+ years experience in Airline Revenue Accounting, Pricing, Inventory Management or Revenue Management and/or ATPCO products.
Marketing
Superior analytical skills and superior decision making abilities
Capable of motivating and mentoring staff
Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business, Marketing.
The preferred Candidates should have advanced oral, written, and other presentation skills as well as effective networking and contact management skills.
Duration: 12 months + or full time.
Rate: Please quote your best hour/day rate or expected salary.
