Technical Expert: Work with the Technical Design Authorities (TDAs), of the various projects, document detailed designs for Oracle High Availability platforms for each iBorders project. Work with assigned Infrastructure Project Managers to support implementation of the designs. Act as the focal point to resolve any technical issues arising from these implementations. Audit existing implementations, produce recommendations for service improvement and lead the implementation of any agreed remedial work. Deliver acceptance plans that test the correct implementation and functioning of each design and oversee actual tests. Provide 2nd level operational support to projects during early months of operation (with the Customer Service Manager) during and after the commencement of service. Provide skills transfer to other 2nd level support staff and input relevant sections to the Managed Service Guides (MSGs) for each implementation.
