Yunus has nearly 40 years' experience within the Air Transport industry where he has managed a variety of portfolios, projects and industry programs for Airline, Airport Authorities, Airport Ground Handling Companies, Aviation and Aerospace and Corporate Travel Expense Management.


He has an extensive track record of successes in steering business process change, and improvements to increase operational efficiency and compliance control, at a local, regional, national and international level.

Yunus has vast experience developing, maintaining, overseeing and fostering internal customer relationships; collaborating supply strategies, ensuring supply needs are constantly being met and resolving complex vendor issues as well as over-seeing compliance to all procurement policies and procedures.

He is expert at negotiating supplier/vendor agreements, implementing strategic communication and marketing initiatives and mentoring the efforts for all global procurement strategies and sourcing activities.


His specific skills include, but are not limited to Aviation and E-Commerce Operations Management, Airport, Passenger, Cargo, Ground and Ramp, Security and Catering, Budgeting and Cost Control, Performance Metrics KPI’s & Motivation, New Business Development, Stakeholder Relationship Management, Regulatory Compliance and Process and Efficiency Improvements.


He has the Financial acumen to plan and prioritize multi-million dollar operating budgets and ensure prudent use of resources to meet strategic goals.


Throughout his career Yunus has liaised with various government and industry stakeholders such as; Air Carriers, Other International Civil Aviation Authorities, Transport Canada, NAV Canada, IATA, ICAO, FAA. He has complete fluency in five languages (English, French, Swahili, Hindi, Urdu and Arabic) and the ability to seamlessly navigate worldwide multicultural business environments.
