Perry is an Airport Systems Implementation Specialist with 40 years experience in Aviation, Mining, and Education. During this time he has been responsible for contract negotiation and management, software development, systems implementation, integration and support, profit and loss account management and all aspects of bids and proposals including generation and evaluation.
During his career Perry has worked as a VP for Airports at a Global Transportation Industry Group, a Project Manager - Airport Systems Support and Integration Strategy Team for British Airways and as an Implementation Manager Special Airport Systems (SAS) at Dubai International Airport where he managed subcontractors ARINC, Thales and Emirates Computers and their sub-contractors in the testing, acceptance, implementation and integration of the numerous Airport systems.
Perry’s achievements include, but are not limited to, delivering three new-airport operational systems within 5 months of each other; Completing upgrade from OS/2 to NT of the world’s largest Common Use Checkin facility (CUTE) of 1,500 workstations in Frankfurt; Installing Baggage Reconciliation Systems for KLM in Schiphol, BAA at London Gatwick, BA at Aberdeen and Edinburgh and IB at Madrid and Barcelona and acting as Bid Director (with Capita and then Serco) for Transport for London’s Congestion Charging Scheme which included the winning system design.
Previous work also includes Director of Delivery, Airport and Desktop Services for ADS and 4 years spent with SITA.
Perry has strong analytical, business acumen and man-management skills.
