Most recently he has been working as the Chief Operating Officer for Dana Airlines, managing their day-to-day operations with a focus on strategic, tactical and short term operations management.
He is also responsible for the development, design, operation, and improvement of the systems that create and deliver Dana Air's services and involved in coordinating activities in various departments including Technical Services, Ground Services and Operations Control Centre and Flight Operations.
Obi has also been involved in an airline start-up. The project involved launching a full service airline within a very short time scale. This included: finding and attracting institutional investors, recruiting and training staff, AOC. He led the set-up of the revenue management function including system selection, staff selection and training from start-up till launch.
