Nigel is a senior ICAO Aviation Security Specialist and global aviation subject matter expert with over 30 years of operational leadership and managerial experience with an in depth understanding of airport and airline operational complexities.

He is a dynamic individual with functional experience encompassing Airport Management, Ground Handling, Airline Operations, United States Aviation Security Compliance and Inspection, UK Airport Security Management and Airline Post Holder Management for Security and Emergency Response.


During his career Nigel has orchestrated full project lifecycles from planning to delivery, ensuring cost effective allocation of resources and timely as well as quality implementation of policies, procedures and systems.

Previous roles have included Airport Security Manager for St Helena Airport, ICAO Aviation Security Specialist/Systems Operations Manager, Operations Manager for Sabre International Security and Transportation Security Specialist for the US Department of Homeland Security.


He is experienced in the design and implementation of facilities Access Control Systems, Biometrics, CCTV and Thermal Camera Systems, Alarm Systems, Passenger Screening Checkpoint design, Hold Baggage Screening, Bomb Mitigation Plans, MANPADS (Man Portable Air Defense Systems), Mitigation Plans, Vehicle Intrusion Prevention, Vehicles Screening Checkpoint Screening Techniques and Design, Vehicle Calming Measures and Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems, Perimeter Protection, Airport and Airline facilities security programmes. 


Nigel is also qualified as a UK Department for Transport Aviation Security Manager.
