Recently Mike headed up and implemented the NCR PMO and was responsible for the delivery of IT and Telecommunications systems for the Greenfield design and build of both Muscat and Salalah airports.
He was also the Project Director for SITA in Qatar for the Government Solutions Line with the overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the Qatar Project.
Programmes to date have included business transformation, software development and large network infrastructures, within global telecoms local government, and the aviation and transportation industry. Operational experience includes start-up, outsourcing and Vendor supplier management. Pro-active approach to engage and support stakeholders / project managers, on best-practice governance processes and project management tools, to maximise ROI.
Previous achievements include Programme Manager for SITA managing a number of Vendor suppliers delivering network infrastructure systems and bespoke software development for the specialist systems to Terminal 2 Dublin Airport. Systems include: LAN (including Masterclock), WLAN, IPT, DAS-C, DAS-R, ACS, CCTV, Security Search, OCC, CBP-BILS, ICISS and EDS.
For BAA he delivered design and business customer acceptance of the systems integration tests (PAX and BAGS stripe). Business sign off of scope and quality expectations, Actual prioritisation and delivery of the testing activity utilising ITIL principles. Definition of KPIs and subsequent analysis and reporting against baseline. Reported to head of SIT BAA.
