He has over 18 years of management experience in Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing (including; e-commerce and digital marketing), Distribution, Finance and Administration at multi-national operations (Mexico, United States, Latin America and Africa regions.

He also has experience in Distribution & Procurement, Reservations Call Centers, e-commerce, Loyalty Programs & CRM, Ground Handling Operations, Call Centre, Data Base Management & Financial Analysis and Process Improvement/Change Management.           

 

His technical skills include EDS SHARES Reservations, Ticketing and Check-in, GDS’s Cost Management & Revenue Maximization, PROS Passenger Revenue Optimization System, SABRE, WORLDSPAN, AMADEUS & GALILEO, WORLDSPAN Fare Quote & Rapid Re-Price Module, IATA SSIM (SSM, ASM, etc.), ATPCO

MIDT, BIDT & TCN Analysis and AVAYA.

 

His achievements have included leading the implementation in Aeromexico of various projects with major GDS’s and EDS Shares: Seamless Availability, Seamless Sell, Record Locator Return, Married Segments, Seamless Pre-Reserved Seats, Interactive Seat Maps, Point of Sale, Claim PNR, Manual Dynamic Schedule Update, Ticket Number Notification, Ticket Control Number, E-TKT, CRS Based Inventory POS control, Negotiated Fares, MIDT, BIDT and TCN.

 

Edmundo also co-ordinated the implementation in Aeromexico of check-in and reservations features with SKY TEAM and airline partners; Continental, LAN Chile, Delta Air Lines, Air France, Korean Air, Czech Air Lines, Mexicana, America West, Swissair and Taca.

 

He reduced the distribution costs in Aeromexico in 2002 YOY; -12% with Sabre; -15% with Worldspan; -9% with Amadeus; -6% with Galileo.
